Fashion to Interior







Interior design trends are constantly evolving, strongly influenced by both fashion industry and the art world, this time from Trina Turk and her beutiful colours and patterns on clothing. Summer 2007 - Deep blue paired with lighter tones, along with white, and egg yolk yellow as an accent, are popular trends for summer fashion but also for interiors. Bold, graphic patterns make cheerful additions to the home. Watch for large geometric prints in chocolate paired with white, too.

Andrea Valentini


Andrea Valentini born and raised in Rhode Island USA, received both Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Interior Architecture degrees from (RISD). With more than 14 years of professional experience as a commercial and residential Interior Architect, receiving several awards for her interiors, she began to set her focus and explorations on "the object in space."

Intending to combine and expand her knowledge and experience as an artist/ designer, she has developed a body of work that is now a portfolio of product design being noticed both nationally and internationally. She is among a very select group of designers' chosen by the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum 2003 Triennial, "Inside Design Now" which represents the quality, range and vitality of current U.S. design practice today. She has also been nominated for a National Design Award in Product Design.

Shoe exhibition

Yesterday me and my photographer friend Victor Puig went to an opening for a shoe exhibition at F.A.D. (Fomen Arts Decorative). Where Spanish designers had made redesigns of Spanish shoe brands. The exhibition titled 'Reinventando el calzado' (Reinventing the footwear) will be open until March 31. Victor Puig took this beautiful shot, check out more of his pictures at his Flickr.
