FANTASTIC WALLPAPER - Lisa Bengtsson

How do you frame your life?
Lisa Bengtsson graduated from Berghs School of Communication in Sweden last spring and recently debuted her first pattern collection. One of her patterns took form of a wallpaper called “the family”.

She got inspired by ancient times. A time that you cannot return to, but a time you still care for and want to remember. Lisa gives you the opportunity to put your own personal touch onto the wallpaper and asks the question; how do you frame your life? The costumer makes its own decision whereas to frame their grandmother, children or friends. Maybe you want to have the wallpaper just as an artwork and let it stand on it’s own. Why not frame your favorite knob with your favorite necklace.

Sophice Cook

sophie cook graduated in 1997 from camberwell school of arts. her work now sells worldwide and is also featured in permanent museum collections.

currently throwing porcelain bottles and pods on the wheel, her vibrant glazes embody subtle, sculptural shapes to create fluid, almost luminous forms which suggest a contemporary feel to a traditional craft.

As part of designersblock 2007 concrete blond exhibited a new range of ‘walled paper’ patterns alongside the
launch of various new textures and surface treatments. Οrnate wallpaper patterns are embossed onto concrete surfaces, transforming the traditionally brutal aesthetic of the material.

The Dutch artist Ferry Staverman utilizes beeboard and thread to create her elaborate cut-out designs.

Andyland found this italian company called Missoni home. Some cool stuff but also contain some of the traditional Italian crazy style, which I don't prefer.
